Amadeus International Piano Awards
AMADION is a prestigious piano competition and award of merit established in Vienna to honor young piano students who engage deeply with the works, styles, and spirit of iconic composers such as Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Chopin, Debussy, Rachmaninoff and other great masters, in a unique and artistically meaningful way.
725 music universities, conservatories, academies, and music high schools from 118 countries will be invited to represent themselves by submitting applications from two of their students. The official participation vouchers will be sent to all 725 institutions via their official email addresses.
In addition to the students from the invited music institutions, all pianists are welcome to apply, regardless of where they study.
The official ceremony of AMADION – Amadeus International Piano Awards 2025 will take place on November 27, 2025, at the Ehrbar Hall in Palais Ehrbar, in Vienna. All winners will perform live on stage as part of the evening’s artistic program. The event will be hosted by professional presenters and broadcast live. Coverage will span national and international cultural and television networks, radio stations, and digital platforms dedicated to classical music and the arts.
