Frank Peters is one of the most versatile and accomplished Dutch pianists of his generation.

A graduate of the Conservatory of Amsterdam, where he studied under Jan Wijn, he completed his studies with the highest distinction. Following a series of successes at national and international competitions, he embarked on a solo career, performing on all major concert stages throughout the Netherlands and touring extensively across Europe, Russia, China, the United States, and Australia.

He has appeared as a soloist with leading orchestras, including the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, Radio Chamber Orchestra, Residentie Orkest, Gelders Orkest, Phion, and the Polish National Radio Orchestra. His concerto repertoire includes works by Beethoven, Rachmaninov, Prokofiev, Schnittke, Ravel, and Gershwin, among others.

In recent years, Peters has devoted himself increasingly to chamber music, performing with distinguished artists and ensembles at prominent festivals across Europe. He currently serves as a principal piano professor at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, where he is highly regarded as both a performer and pedagogue.

A passionate advocate of the music of Nikolai Medtner, Peters has played a key role in bringing the Russian composer’s works to wider attention. His repertoire includes a wide range of Medtner's solo works, the piano quintet, and numerous songs. Together with soprano Ekaterina Levental, he made history by recording, for the first time ever, the complete songs of Medtner across five CDs (Brilliant Classics). This landmark project received widespread critical acclaim.

His recent recordings include the piano quintets of Mozart and Beethoven with the Hexagon Ensemble (Et’Cetera Records) and a duo piano album featuring works by Medtner and Rachmaninov (7 Mountain Records).

Frank Peters is teacher of piano as a psrincipal subject at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and the ArtEZ conservatory in Arnhem and Zwolle.
